CLASS IX MATHS IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

1.A boy has a spherical sweet of radius 4 cm. A girl has 8 spherical sweets each of radius 2cm. Find the ratio of the volume of the sweets the boy has to the sweets the girl has.
2.Mean of 50 observations was found to be 80.4. But later on it was discovered that 96 was misread as 69 at one place. Find the correct mean

4.A right triangle ABC with sides 24cm, 7cm and 25cm is revolved about the side 7cm. Find the volume of the solid so formed. If the triangle is revolved about its hypotenuse, what are the slant heights of the double cone thus generated.
5.Prove that the line segment joining the mid points of the diagonals of a trapezium is parallel to the parallel sides
6.Marbles of diameter 1.4cm are dropped into a beaker containing some water and are fully submerged. The diameter of the beaker is 7 cm. Find how many marbles have been dropped in it, if water rises by 56 cm.
